You will have access to the Soque River. Kayaks are available to rent for $20 each per day. Please give us prior notice if you are interested and you may pay cash or check upon arrival. There are fire pits on site for your use. There is a screened in porch next to the river for picnics. Cori is based in Atlanta. She or her family may occasionally be staying on the property. Melissa and her husband, Duncan, live 4 miles away and are available upon arrival for a tour and if you have any questions during your stay. You can determine how much interaction you want to have with us. There are good restaurants and thrift stores in downtown Clarkesville. We are also very close to Piedmont college. A short drive away is Tallulah Falls and Helen. Parking is all around on the property and included. It is highly advisable that you have your own vehicle or a rental vehicle. There are off-leash dogs on and around the property. Please be aware that although the property is secluded it is located on a road with occasional neighborhood traffic.
