Clarendon Cottage is a fully self-contained private retreat set on a beautiful property. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula, McLaren Vale, and surrounds, all within a 15-minute drive, or as a peaceful countryside escape, located just 25 kilometers from Adelaide CBD. Historical township of Clarendon is only minutes away from the cottage. With abundant birdlife, kangaroos, and koalas, the property offers stunning views across the hills, ensuring tranquility and privacy The space Clarendon cottage is fully self contained that will be yours to enjoy, providing one bedroom, fully functioning kitchen including a full size stove, with a brand new bathroom and seperate laundry. The bedroom, kitchen and lounge offer spectacular views across our property. Bringing a friend? They have a comfortable sofa bed to also enjoy with linen provided. A private back yard, Weber barbecue, comfortable out door lounge all undercover and a front sitting area are all available for you to enjoy. Board games and playing cards are available for you just to sit and relax. Tea and coffee is available for your convenience. We have free ranging chickens and if they are laying we leave 6 eggs for you to enjoy, complimentary. We do share a driveway with the main house much further down the driveway but the cottage is completely seperate and private. We are on the door step to many national parks including Onkaparinga Hills and Scott creek with easy walks/hiking for all levels. Walking around the newly opened Happy Valley reservoir and My Bold is also a favourite so if you have time why not? If wineries are more your style the closest is less than 5 minutes away and we can offer transportation for an additional nominal fee (subject to availability). We would be happy to answer any questions you have prior to booking. We welcome you and your guests. Guest access Guest have full access to the property but any areas under construction we ask that for your safety you refrain from entering these area. Also we ask that you stay out of the main residence unless in need or invited to attend. We have farm animal so we ask the paddock gates are kept closed as you enter and exit.
