Welcome to our traditional Swedish log house, located on a private 24-acre island with a spacious garden and breathtaking panoramic views over Lake Roxen and the famous Göta Canal. Here you will find the perfect setting for peace of mind, tranquillity, fishing, romance, and relaxation. Surrounded by nature, this authentic Swedish retreat invites you to slow down, recharge, and also enjoy a touch of adventure, whether exploring the lake by boat, fishing, or simply discovering the island. The space You will have a big part of the island and both houses to yourself, giving you complete privacy and freedom. The houses are rustic, cozy, and full of charm, with simple but comfortable furnishings that make you feel close to nature. Main House Kitchen & Living Room (ground floor): A small but practical kitchen with the essentials for cooking, combined with a cozy living room. There is a sofa, a extendable dining table, and direct access to a large wooden terrace with a panoramic view over the lake. Bedroom (first floor): Spacious and light, with one king-size bed (180 cm) and two single beds (90 cm). Ideal for couples, friends, or a family. Second House Shower Room: Fresh and newly renovated (2021) with modern flooring and finishes. Toilet: New, clean, and modern incineration toilet. Extra Bedroom: A simple and cozy room with two single beds (90 cm). Perfect for extra guests or children. Outdoors Garden: A huge open space with room for games, relaxation, or just enjoying nature. A fire place is also available for a nice barbeque. Terrace: A large wooden deck with seating, out door shower and wood fired hot tub, perfect for outdoor dining, coffee in the morning sun, or wine in the evening with a lake view. Boat: A small boat with free fuel is included, easy to row or handle with motor, ideal for fishing, exploring the lake, or sunset trips. Guest access You will have access to two houses, the main house and also a second house and of course the huge garden with direct access to the lake. Other things to note Please observe that you have to take a small boat (not for cars) to the island, this trip is about 5 minutes long. This boat is included in the price.
