Escape the crowds by staying in Via Valla– a hidden gem 5 minutes drive from Laax village. The light and airy chalet is tucked away in a quiet forest in South-facing Laax Salums. It's a perfect year-round retreat for families or large groups looking for comfort during an active outdoor holiday. The space The light and spacious chalet has been tastefully fitted with modern facilities whilst maintaining the original style of the building. With 127 m² living area, 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, 6 people can be accommodated comfortably. Located in Laax Salums, Via Valla is a quiet, remote location just a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk from the Laax base station and local shops. It’s perfect for a summer retreat with a balcony to enjoy a coffee, BBQ or beer in the sun whilst enjoying a view of the Alps. With high-speed Wifi, open living space and a large table the chalet is also a great location to Work From Home with friends. There are 2 bathrooms, one located on the ground floor with a bath/shower and a master bathroom located on the top floor with 2 sinks and shower. Upstairs you will find all 3 bedrooms of a good size and a cosy gallery area with books, games and a desk. The ground floor open plan living space is ideal for entertaining or relaxing after a hiking or biking. There is high-speed Wi-Fi, Netflix and a smart TV with local channels. The kitchen is small but perfectly sufficient for cooking large meals and is fully-equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer, large oven with 4 hobs, coffee machine and dishwasher. There are also coin-operated, shared laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) available. During your stay you will have full access (and your own key) to the entire chalet. There are also coin-operated shared laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer), available which are charged at approximately CHF 1.50/hour. There is one additional outdoor shared communal parking space which may be available depending on whether our neighbours have visitors at the time of your visit but is not guaranteed. Other things to note The property is unsuitable for people with reduced mobility due to the spiral staircase. Babies and infants can stay in the chalet just be aware that we have no cot or baby facilities (ie. stair gates, high chairs or child toilets etc...) so you may need to bring these yourself. We have also made no attempt to baby proof furniture. There are two guaranteed car parking spaces available; one in the garage (which fits a small car) and one outside parking space in front of the right garage door at the front of the property. If you require more parking our neighbour's have a space, which you may use, provided it is not occupied. Please first use the allocated parking (inside and outside our garage) and note that as this is our neighbour's parking space, you may be asked to move the car. The paid car park at the Laax base station, Laax Murschetg would be an alternative. - Well-behaved pets welcome - Please remove shoes when entering the chalet - Maximum guests (excluding babies and infants): 6 - No smoking on the premises - No parties or events Laax only has limited shopping options; a Volg at both the Laax base station and Laax village and a Coop Pronto petrol station, so I would recommend doing some shopping before arrival. The nearest supermarkets can be found in Schluein (Lidl), Flims (Coop, Denner) and Ilanz (Coop, Migros, Aldi). Safety equipment includes: first aid kit, smoke detectors in every bedroom, fire blanket and emergency contact numbers. The property has a key lockbox which provides a convenient way to check in, check-out and allow all guests access the chalet at all times throughout your stay. The shared laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) are coin-operated and charged at around CHF 1.50/hour. Please note the chalet is a well-loved family holiday home that has endured some wear and tear over the years, but it is absolutely charming, and we hope you love it as much as we do!
