Make it a great sleepy weekend away or a relaxing stop after travelling! Your completely private space is waiting for your arrival! The space Welcome to a quiet getaway along the water! You will have your own private space in our upstairs loft which is part of the main house. The space has 9 foot ceilings and includes a bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, a three piece bathroom (shower/tub), and your own private spacious comfortable living room area with a big screen TV. Relax at the waterfront with your morning coffee while enjoying the spectacular views of Colpoy’s Bay. If you are an early riser, you won’t want to miss the stunning sunrises. Guests can enjoy the seating area which is right beside the water. Guest internet, along with Netflix is provided, and you are free to borrow novels, puzzles and board games. We provide all soaps, sheets and towels, along with Keurig morning coffee and tea options. All tap water is 100% treated and drinkable. Unfortunately, we do not allow cooking (microwave, outdoor BBQs/stoves are not permitted). Please bring your own beach towels if you plan to swim. Water shoes are recommended. Please note, we are not equipped to accommodate pets, children, smoking or excessive noise. Your hosts are available to provide friendly assistance and advice. THE SURROUNDING AREA Designated as a UNESCO world heritage site, the Bruce Peninsula has much to offer. Hike the nearby Bruce Trail, Spirit Rock Trail or kayak on the bay. You can bike along the shoreline or at the local bike park, visit the famous Grotto at the Bruce Peninsula National Park, (park reservations are required) or just relax at the Georgian Bay waterside. Explore the Bruce Caves or the Greig Caves - or browse the shops in the quaint town of Wiarton - which is only 5 km drive from Colpoy’s Bay. Wiarton is a cottage community with a beach, waterside park, marina, boardwalk, interesting shops, playground, and a full hospital. There is a Tim Hortons; Foodland grocery store and enough restaurants to satisfy any palette. The pretty town of Tobermory is just a 40 minute drive north, while beautiful Sauble Beach is a 20 minute drive. Sauble Beach is one of Ontario’s most beautiful beaches and you can stroll for miles on white sand or swim in the warm water of Lake Huron. Caves, trails, waterfalls and lighthouses - there is plenty to do on the Bruce Peninsula! Guest access We are providing our spacious LOFT that has a bedroom, private three-piece shower/tub bathroom, generous private living room area; along with a private deck and waterfront sitting areas. We have made our unit available for only two people at a time - so you can enjoy your privacy and you will never share the space with other guests. Other things to note Please note we do not allow pets - as we have a family member that has severe allergies. We follow the cleaning protocol recommended by Airbnb as well as local health authorities. All linens are washed on the highest heat. We are very diligent with disinfecting all touch points. We provide self check-in and self check-out with a keypad entry. It is very important to us to provide a safe, clean environment for our guests so they can relax and enjoy their getaway.
