The space Located just a 30 minute drive from the heart of Canberra, the estate truly allows guests to take advantage of the best of both worlds: rural wineries, farms and the iconic attractions of Australia's bush capital. Having a main residency of 700m2 and 120-acre block of land with a dam is quite impressive. The residential block would provide guests with a private and comfortable space to relax and unwind, while the 120-acre land with a dam would offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, or boating. It's always nice to have access to nature and the outdoors, especially when staying in a country estate. The bedrooms are immaculate and spacious, each with its own luxury bathroom that promises the bliss of privacy and comes equipped with all the necessary amenities. Bound to keep guests entertained, there is a professional billiard table, an air hocky table as well as board games and toys for those with young children. If guests opt to have a tranquil night-in, the well-equipped kitchen offers an expresso machine, blender, stainless steel gas stove, oven and a wide range of cooking utilities perfect for whipping up a warm homemade meal. Additionally, the indoor fireplace would be perfect for cooler evenings, providing a cosy atmosphere for everyone to gather around and relax. Guests have access to both WiFi and good mobile phone coverage and 4G. Other things to note Note: The upstairs master bedroom has no blinds or curtains. Please keep to walking trails during Spring and Summer where the grass is low. The farmhouse uses Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems (AWTS) for its sewerage solutions. It's important to note that the treatment system relies primarily on bacteria for treatment, which means that using products that kill bacteria can harm the system and affect its ability to function properly. To help guests avoid using harmful products, a printed list of products to be avoided in AWTS is provided in the house. It's important for guests to be mindful of this and to use only the approved products during their stay to ensure the proper functioning of the AWTS. Please also note, our property is located in a natural farm environment, surrounded by open land and wildlife. During your stay, you will likely see birds and other native animals around the property. Because of this natural setting, you may occasionally notice bird droppings or spider webs in outdoor areas. We do our best to maintain the space, but some signs of nature are unavoidable in this environment. If you are sensitive to this type of natural setting, we kindly ask that you consider carefully before booking. For the safety of the wildlife and the balance of the environment, please do not feed the birds or other animals.
