Giuggiola is our studio apartment located on our property (Le Casette di Olga), surrounded by the greenery of the Euganean Hills. It is located in Valle San Giorgio in the Municipality of Baone, a few minutes from Arquà Petrarca, Este, Monselice Montegrotto, Abano and Padua. From the nearby Monselice train station you can reach Venice, Ferrara, Bologna, Verona and Vicenza in 45/60 minutes. It is the ideal place for those looking for tranquility but also a point from which to start for MTB walking and cycling. The space Giuggiola is the name of our cosy studio apartment, nestled in the lush greenery of the Euganean Hills, a true paradise for those who love nature, outdoor activities and atmospheres steeped in history. Located in Valle San Giorgio, in the Municipality of Baone, the studio apartment is set in a picturesque landscape, perfect for setting out to discover the many nature trails, hiking routes and trail running paths that cross these volcanic hills, which are full of charm and biodiversity. Just a few minutes away are some of the most characteristic and history-laden villages in the Euganean Hills: the enchanting Arquà Petrarca, with its narrow stone streets and the poet's house; the medieval Monselice, with its Castle and the Via Sacra delle Sette Chiesette; and the elegant Este, with its Este Castle and streets full of life and tradition. Every walk here becomes a journey through time, amidst breathtaking views and evidence of a glorious past linked to the Serenissima and the Este family. For bike and MTB enthusiasts, the area offers numerous scenic cycling routes that wind through vineyards, olive groves and woods, with priceless views of the hills and the surrounding plain. Despite the tranquillity of the place, Giuggiola is well connected: the Monselice train station, a few kilometres away, allows you to reach cities of art such as Venice, Verona, Bologna, Ferrara and Vicenza in about an hour, making our studio a perfect starting point for cultural excursions as well. The studio apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals after a day of walking or exploring. Please note that this is a tourist rental and not a B&B, so we cannot offer a breakfast or catering service. Please note that the price includes the tourist tax that our municipality applies; €1.20 per person for the first 7 days of your stay (children are exempt).
