Description
The house is located in a small, very quiet hamlet near Grosznjan in the green hills of the domestic. There is often a nice breeze in the summer. The view goes all around the street. The ideal place to "unwind". The space The house was purchased in 2013 by a German family and tastefully expanded and furnished in rustic style. On the ground floor there is the well-equipped kitchen and dining area for eight people as well as a shower room and the wardrobe. From the kitchen, you go out through a glass door to the covered terrace, where there is also a dining area. In the garden, in front of the terrace, is the swimming pool. Upstairs are three locked bedrooms for two each, a toilet and a bathroom with tub. In the spacious living room there is a sofa corner, which can be converted into another double bed, a reading chair, a desk and the TV. The terrace upstairs offers another seating area with a table and four chairs. The house has very thick walls, so it will remain correspondingly cool in the summer. Air conditioning units in all rooms also ensure pleasant temperatures on very hot days. In the three bedrooms there are mosquito screens in the windows, so a quiet sleep is provided. With its central heating and radiators in all rooms, it is also suitable for winter. In the living room is a cast iron fireplace. Guest access The house is at your disposal. Other things to note Despite its quiet location, the house is an ideal starting point for excursions. The medieval fortress towns of Istria, such as Motovun or Buzet, are not too far away. The sea can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The nearest good shopping facilities are in Buje. The house is located on the Istrian "Olive Oil Street". The surrounding area offers plenty of culinary highlights: the famous Istrian truffles, meat from the boskarin cattle, wild Istrian asparagus, local wine, olive oil from the surrounding manufactures. Nearby Grosznjan is a small beautiful medieval fortress, known as "artist village" because of its many galleries. It also has a good gastronomic offer. Every year in the summer, a jazz festival well known among insiders takes place there.
