Description
The house is located in a small, very quiet hamlet near Grosznjan in the green hills of the interior. There is often a pleasant breeze in summer. The view is all around the countryside. The ideal place to unwind. The space The house was acquired in 2013 by a German family and tastefully developed and furnished in a rustic style. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area for eight people as well as a shower room and a cloakroom. From the kitchen, you go through a glass door out onto the covered terrace, where there is also a dining area. In the garden, in front of the terrace, is the swimming pool. Upstairs are three enclosed bedrooms for two people each, a toilet and a bathroom with a tub. In the spacious living room there is a sofa corner that can be converted into another double bed, a reading chair, a desk and the TV. The upstairs terrace offers another seating area with a table and four chairs. The house has very thick walls, so it stays cool in summer. Air conditioners in all rooms also ensure pleasant temperatures even on very hot days. In the three bedrooms there are mosquito nets in the windows, so that a quiet sleep is ensured. With its central heating and radiators in all rooms, it is also suitable for winter. In the living room there is a cast iron fireplace. Guest access The house is at your disposal. Other things to note Despite its quiet location, the house is an ideal starting point for excursions. The medieval fortress towns of Istria such as Motovun or Buzet are not too far away. The sea can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The nearest good shopping facilities are in Buje. The house is located on the Istrian "Olive Oil Road". The surroundings offer plenty of culinary highlights: the famous Istrian truffles, meat from the Boskarin cattle, wild Istrian asparagus, wine from local cultivation, olive oil from the manufactories of the surroundings. The nearby Grosznjan is a small beautiful medieval fortress, known as the "artists' village" because of its many galleries. It also has a good gastronomic offer. Every year in summer there is a jazz festival well known among insiders.
