The country house "El rincón de Luna" is a newly built house which will open to the public on 1 August. It is situated in the region of Luna, a biosphere reserve, 5km from La Magdalena where you'll find all kinds of services such as restaurants, supermarkets, banks, a health centre, pharmacies, etc. This is a high mountainous region of León, in a prime location for taking excursions to the rest of León's mountainous areas and its main cities (León, Ponferrada, Astorga). It is also very near the principality of Asturias, making it easy to visit the cities of Asturias (Oviedo, Gijón, Aviles, etc.) in a day, as well as its fishing villages and main beaches. The house is situated in the town centre of Vega de Caballeros, a town with 19 neighbours, where tranquillity and the passage of time is a million miles from city life. The area is spectacular in all seasons of the year, and in summer the temperature rarely exceeds 28 degrees, getting cooler in the evening, so rest and relaxation at night is guaranteed. In the winter, the snow normally comes in abundance, providing the perfect setting for a walk around the town, after which you can warm up next to the house's fireplace. The house is built in keeping with the traditional features of rural construction in the area, in stone and rustic plastering, with a hallway, balconies and porch.
