Want to breathe and live a weekend or a peaceful week in the countryside? The cottage at Clos des Gloriettes offers you a country stay in the heart of a small village near a river. Located 50 minutes from Epernay, 25 minutes from Reims, 15 minutes from Rethel and 45 minutes from Charleville-Mézières; the cottage has an ideal location to discover Champagne-Ardenne. The space The house is perfect for families with children, couples, friends and business travelers, sleeping up to 8 people in an exotic setting, quiet with gardens in the front and back of the fireplace. On the ground floor is a beautiful living space consisting of a dining room, a separate equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, induction cooktop), laundry room (washing machine, dryer, dryer) and separate toilet. A terrace in the back of the house is available with barbecue and garden furniture. Upstairs are 4 large double bedrooms (one with a bathroom), a shower room and a small storage room. We have the opportunity to provide rooms on the ground floor for people in difficulty. The house is heated by a wood burning stove (wood provided) , and central heating. Pets are allowed under conditions. Enclosed parking is available to accommodate vehicles. Sheets are provided. Option towels on request (€5 per person) You can grill outside the house and stroll along the woods and river. Gardens are fenced: children and pets can be safely self-sufficient. Other things to note By car, you can go 29 km on the famous Chemin des Dames (guided tours are offered). Or you can visit the Palais du Bul and Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral known for having been, from the 11th century, the place of almost all of the sacres of the kings of France. You also have the opportunity to do wine tourism by visiting the largest champagne houses in the region (Lanson, Charles de Cazanove, Vranken-Pommery, GH Mumm etc...). Note that museums are open to the public all year round (Champagne Museum in Epernay, Automobile Museum in Reims, Pompelle Fort Museum in Châlons-en-Champagne...).
