The space The flat is about 200m east of the Piazza Signoria and the Uffizi, in a bustling neighbourhood with local shopping and restaurants etc, within easy walking distance of the sights in central Florence. It is spacious (130 sq m, 1400 sq ft) with two bedrooms and bathrooms, sitting room, dining room, study lobby, kitchen and outside covered terrace, on the second floor of an historic building. The flat is full of character, being warmly furnished and decorated extensively with original art, both pictures and murals. The windows round the courtyard look out over characteristic Florentine roofs, with the sound of bells ringing the hours. You arrive in the hall, before entering the sitting room. On your right is the Library bedroom, which is set up as either two single beds or a double bed, and has two hanging cupboards with shelves/drawers and a table in front of a long mirror. Beyond the sitting room on the right is the dining room and the door in to the kitchen and on to the covered terrace. On your left is the corridor to the Library bedroom’s bathroom, with a shower and two basins, and round to the ensuite area of the main bedroom, with a double bed, its bathroom with a shower and two basins, which are reached through the study lobby with this bedroom’s double cupboard hanging space. The flat has air conditioning and its own heating. The kitchen fully equipped, with both a hob and separate oven and a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer, as well as an electric kettle, toaster, and a Nespresso machine. There is an ironing board and clothes iron, along with a hair dryer in each bathroom. The entrance to the building has three steps to the main door, and there are a further 8 steps in the entrance hall to reach the lift. The lift is relatively narrow, so takes two people with luggage but not a wheel chair. This then comes to the flat on the second floor. The flat is being upgraded in Spring 2026 including renewing the terrace roof by end of March, two new armchairs by May and further double glazing in the main bedroom in hand. Guest access You will be taking all of the flat. The flat will suit between 2 to 4 people, with a crib available as well. The flat is in Via del Corno, so very centrally located well inside the 'No traffic zone'. It is a short walk to the Uffizi Gallery (3 minutes), Ponte Vecchio (6 minutes) and the Cathedral (8 minutes), with lots of other sights nearby. Being so central within Florence's 'no traffic zone', it is well placed for Florence's wide range of restaurants and bars, and the full range of Italian and international shops nearby across the centre of the city. Conveniently, there is a Conad City supermarket 4 minutes walk away. Also, within a few minutes walk, there is Santa Maria del Fiore and Santa Croce cathedrals, the Pitti and Strozzi Palaces, and the most famous Italian fashion stores in via Tornabuoni, the characteristic small shops for typical Florence food and handcrafted products in via dei Neri and via del Corso, and the Florence city central market with its first floor dining at San Lorenzo.
