The space There’s a slower kind of comfort in a home built by hand. Ours is raised from strawbale, thick-walled and quietly solid, holding its own steady temperature no matter what the coast is doing outside. It’s the kind of place that asks you to unclench a little the moment you walk in. Around it, the garden does its own thing — herbs and vegetables growing alongside native plantings, kangaroos moving through in the early light, parrots overhead. Nothing manicured, nothing forced. Just a patch of the South West doing what it naturally does, with us tending it rather than taming it. Your Hosts We’re outdoor people through and through — snorkelling, surfing, diving, hiking, 4WD-ing the dunes, windsurfing, kite surfing — if it’s outside, we’re probably into it. That means we know this coastline properly, not just from a guidebook, and we love sharing what we know: where the fish are biting, which beach is quiet today, when the whales are closest to shore, or which track will actually be worth the sand in your tyres. If you’re staying with us for 4 nights or more and you’re keen, we might just invite you to tag along on one of our own adventures — whether that’s a surf, a dive, or a 4WD run out along the coast.
