The neighborhood is peaceful with lots of hiking opportunities and is situated close to the city center, only a 20 min walk or 5 min with bike. You can also take day trip to Sandnessjøen, Dønna, Leirfjord and Korgen if you want to see mountains like syv søstre, dønnamannen, toven, okstindan +++.
