Studio apartment that was once an attic and now welcomes you as if it were a nest. It's small and simple but with handmade and original details that make it different. It's an ideal place for those looking to relax, for nature lovers and trails to walk quietly, without crowds. And it's especially a good place for birdwatching and the night sky. The space It is a studio of about 30 m² with a great view, very simple but cozy, original. It has a 1.35 m bed, bathroom, kitchen equipped with under-counter refrigerator, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, blender, utensils for preparing meals... Fireplace-wood stove, ceiling fan, air conditioning and heat pump, a loft with an extra 1.20 m bed if necessary, various crafts. Ecological in its construction and maintenance. It has no luxuries, but it is a luxury to look out the window and see birds flying over the meadow. I will inform you of everything that can be done in the area and especially the hiking trails in the nearby area. I have some brochures that I have prepared myself where I explain the recommended itineraries. The village where the apartment is located is a picturesque village of 20 inhabitants located on the side of a rock with a castle at the top. The Villuercas-Ibores-Jara region is a Geopark and a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPAB). It is close to Guadalupe, Trujillo and Monfragüe National Park. Although it is similar to living in the countryside, there are neighbors, we are not alone in the neighborhood. There are also pets in the neighborhood (rescued dogs and some loose cats). Don't worry, they won't get into the house😁. I hope this isn't a problem, but I like to tell you everything. One minute from the house you are in the middle of nature and you can walk beautiful trails, and with different landscapes: views from the castle, water courses, rocks, forests, meadows... A lot of diversity just a few minutes from the house. Guest access Breakfasts, lunches, or dinners are not included. Other things to note The village is small and has no store, but it does have a very nice cafe-restaurant, Casa Terrona. 7 km away, in Solana de Cabañas, there are also good places to eat (Doña Tomasa restaurant). You eat well at a good price. In Solana there is another place to eat portions: Bar La Bombonera. Bread and sweets from the area can be bought at Bar El Paso, in Retamosa, 7 km away (closes on Thursdays).
