This 16c property stands completely alone in an acre of grounds which border the shoreline. Go rowing in the boat, fish from jetty or foreshore, wild swim or bring kayaks, canoes and SUP's. Wonderful view from every room; well-appointed throughout, superfast wifi, full ch, secluded large garden, woodland, private parking, shop, pubs, restaurants, beaches. Unbeatable location! The space Rock Cottage is a well established, fully modernised and family run holiday rental property which during our ownership of 71 years, continues to delight hundreds of guests. It is a traditional Cornish Cottage, is over 400 years old and stands alone in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Unique, picturesque, a little piece of paradise with a magnificent exclusive view, this stunning property sits in an acre of private grounds. Built on a projecting rock foundation, it enjoys an elevated position with water frontage on two sides. Superfast wifi, electricity, ch oil, bed linen, bath towels, hand & tea towels, luxury toiletries, boat, life jackets and tide table, crabbing lines & bucket, welcome pack all provided. Guest access Guests have full access to the Cottage and its fabulous grounds. It is private with no neighbours or owners on site. Key and directions to the property will be available from us and through an email. We will accept one dog only subject to our house rules being accepted. Other things to note Due to its position and proximity to water, Rock Cottage and its unfenced grounds, may be unsuitable for the infirm, unsupervised children and an untrained dog. BOAT: Available from Easter to the end of October (tide and weather permitting). Access to the boat may be unsuitable for some. However, we have made it easier by building some steps in the garden before a steep grassed slope which leads by a few stone steps and to the large wooden landing/jetty. Here children can crab fish, your kayaks, canoes and paddle boards can be stored, or you may fish. To reach Peggy you will need to descend further to the foreshore; a handrail is provided. She is moored to a post fixed to a running line and accessible for use at high tide. The foreshore is muddy and not advisable for walking on without suitable footwear. Use of the jetty and boat are at your own risk. A tide table is provided so you may plan your boating. The Creek has 3+ hours of water either side of high tide, and except for a small inaccessible channel, drains completely.
