Our cottage, called Visthuset by Långnäs Herrgård (Långnäs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. Since then it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons. The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and surrounding areas offer many possibilities for sport and sightseeing. Please see our guidebooks. The space The cottage consists of two floors. The bottom floor has a kitchen and dining area, including a wood stove, as well as a small bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. The kitchen has basic necessities. The top floor has a room with a Euro king-sized bed (160 x 200 cm), a chaise lounge couch, a lounge table, and a smart TV. Outside this room, right next to the stairs, there is a sleeping alcove with two smaller single beds (85 x 185 cm). A door enables some privacy between the two sleeping areas. Please note that the stairs between the floors are open without handrails. The cottage has a deck with table, chairs, parasol, and a grill. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. Vehicles can be parked just outside the cottage. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Cleaning and textiles are not included in the price. We can either rent out the cottage with more personal responsibility or with more convenience. Guests who choose personal responsibility bring their own textiles (bedding and towels) and clean themselves before check-out. There are four single duvets, four pillows, and cleaning equipment at your disposal. Guests who want more convenience can rent textiles from us and purchase professional cleaning services. Rental of textiles costs 125 SEK/person and cleaning services cost 1 050 SEK. Guest access Guests have the entire cottage and the deck at their disposal. Free parking is available right outside the cottage for 2-3 cars. Guests are also welcome to use our garden. Please note that our dog often runs loose on the property. Please let us know if this would cause you any discomfort and we will try to avoid this during your stay. Other things to note 1) As a guest staying at Långnäs Herrgård you can buy discounted green fee tickets to Hofors Golf Club. Senior: 50 SEK discount. Junior: 25 SEK discount.
