Wake up to sparkling lake views in our modern, ultra-clean cottage on Chemong Lake. Located 1.5 hour from Toronto and 15 minutes from the majestic Downtown Peterborough on Chemong Lake. Enjoy crystal clear and shallow water entry right from the property. Conveniently situated, the cottage is only a few minutes' drive away from restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, LCBO, Superstore, and a pharmacy. Additionally, we offer high-speed WiFi internet with unlimited 300 Mbps (speed may vary) The space Experience the open and airy atmosphere of our cottage, featuring ultra-high ceilings in the main space. The bright living room is furnished with one sofa and one sofa-bed that accommodates two guests, with a folding partition for maximum privacy. Gather around the large extendable dining table with eight chairs. The master bedroom boasts a Queen bed and access to an en-suite bath, while the second bedroom offers a Queen bed and a closet. A private second powder room is also available. The cottage comfortably sleeps a total of 6 guests. Entertainment is provided with a smart TV featuring built-in apps (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc). Step outside onto the large deck facing the lake for a relaxing lounging experience. Enjoy picturesque lake views from the kitchen, living room, and dining room. Wake up to the calming scenery from the master bedroom every morning. Ideal for families and couples seeking a quiet and romantic getaway, the cottage comes fully equipped. The kitchen features appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave, 'Original' Nespresso machine (BYO Original capsules), kettle/toaster, pots and pans, and complete dinnerware and flatware sets for cooking. A gas BBQ is available for guests to enjoy. Self-check-in is made easy with a smart lock or lockbox. The cottage is equipped with a forced-air furnace and AC for heating and cooling, ensuring maximum comfort. Control the indoor temperature with the installed Nest smart thermostat. Cottage is available from May to September. Important Notes: PETS: Some dogs are allowed with prior approval by the host (must be hypoallergenic and there's additional cleaning fee). A maximum of 1 pet per stay is permitted, with extra charges applied. Due to family allergies, both bedrooms are strictly off-limits to pets. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets both indoors and outdoors, and dogs must be on a leash at all times. When approved by owner +1 pet should be added at the time of booking in the list of guests. Wifi connection is fast and stable, however occasional outages may occur from the service provider that would be out of host's control. The master bedroom closet, certain cabinets with locks and indoor garage are off-limit to all guests. For guests' safety, security cameras are installed facing the driveway.
