Dogs at MON Balian, We have one friendly villa dog named Ben. He loves meeting guests and will likely come say hi with a wagging tail. Like most parts of rural Bali, you’ll also see other stray dogs around the neighborhood. They’re usually calm and used to guests, but they don’t live at the villa. Please don’t feed them, as it encourages them to hang around. If any make you uncomfortable, message us and we’ll make sure the area stays clear. Wildlife & nature Since we’re surrounded by jungle, you’ll share the space with some local wildlife. You’ll see geckos on the walls, they’re harmless and help keep bugs down. Occasionally you might notice mosquitoes or other small insects, especially at dusk. We provide mosquito spray and repellent, and recommend keeping doors closed in the evening to keep it comfortable.
