The house has a large living room with an open kitchen, a large double room, a bathroom, a large patio terrace to eat “al fresco” under a pergola shaded by roses and a stone barbecue. The swimming pool, opened from May till September, is fitted with a pool house, shower and deckchairs. The property is peaceful, surrounded by wooden hills and olive trees. The house is within easy walking distance of the village. Bolsena is a charming medieval village with its picturesque narrow streets. On the shores of the lake, typical trattorias invite you to enjoy the dolce vita and to experience local specialities. The place is absolutely peaceful and offers perfect relax and many excursions in the surrounding areas. Do not miss Bolsena’s medieval district, the walk on the ancient mediaeval walls and the Basilica Santa Cristina. Join a boat tour to spot the islands Bisentina and Martana or rent a private boat for a fantastic day on the water. At a short distance, visit the spectacular scenery of Civita di Bagnoregio (the “dying city”) and its rocky creeks, enjoy the Val d’Orcia cultural landscape (listed among UNESCO’s World Heritage) and the fairy-tale Orvieto.
