Description
Nariki no Mori is a private rental villa in Ome City, 90 minutes from Tokyo Station, renovated from a 130-year-old traditional Japanese house. Surrounded by mountains and a beautiful river, this hidden retreat lets you enjoy nature unlike anywhere else in Tokyo. In warmer months, enjoy BBQs and river activities. In colder seasons, relax by the bonfire or wood stove. Perfect for family trips, group stays, and workcations. Enjoy a peaceful stay while experiencing Japanese tradition and nature. The space While retaining the traditional beams and transoms, we have created an earthen floor dining room, guest rooms based on the principles of yin-yang and the five elements, a spacious terrace to connect with nature, and a meditation bath that makes use of the walls of the warehouse. In addition, the floors are covered with charcoal, which has been fired by the best charcoal artisans in the Kanto region, and the walls are coated with hemp charcoal, creating a place where one's body and mind can be in harmony just by being there.
