Jukkasjärvi, Holmen - perfect place to spot aurora

A unique house at Holmen, Jukkasjärvi in Kiruna with lovely quiet location by the Torne river, perfect to spot the northern light. The house is newly renovated but still holds the charm of ancient times. You enjoy a private area by the river, wood burning sauna avaliable for a small fee. There is a large kitchen. In the house there is a big bedroom with a writing desk. In the lounge there is a new cozy sofa and a TV (with chromecast). The new bathroom has WC and a bath tub with shower. The space The house is located at Holmen, an island that was granted a road in the 1940’s. The area is located just by the shore of Torne River. During the winter you can take a walk or your cross country skiss to the Icehotel or Nutti Sami Sida. With car it takes a few minutes to go there. The house holds a big kitchen with room to make great dinners together. There you can also make a small fire. In the kitchen there is also fridge/freezer, dishwasher mashine, stove and a washing mashine. In the house there is a big bedroom with a 180 cm bed, dresser, wardrobe and a writing desk. In the lounge there is a new big sofa with TV (with chromecast). Upstairs, there is one bedroom with 180 cm bed and a lounge with a single bed. There is also a second TV. The stair is rather steep and not very wide. The newly renovated bathroom have heated floors, hot and cold runningwater and a bath tub with shower. Guest access The main house is reserved for guests. The host might use the guesthouse located on the same property. Other things to note There is a wood burning sauna avaliable for a small fee.
