Apartment Urban Nature ***

After a long work, all you need is a well-deserved break. The apartment "Urban Nature" can be your oasis of peace located in a newly developed part of the city not far from the city center. It is arranged in a separate detached building with a covered terrace, parking and a yard, surrounded by greenery and forest in a quiet street without noise and traffic, which guarantees you a pleasant vacation, discretion and peace. In the nearby shopping center you can get everything you need to prepare food or simply visit one of the restaurants in the area. The space Next to the apartment there is a open terrace with a grill and with view of the hill where Fortica's historic fortress is located. Guests can use the free Wi-Fi (WiFi), free air-condition, Smart TV, satellite TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, a bathroom with a shower, a washing machine that is only available to guests, and parking in the area of the property. The room is equipped with two removable beds and a living room with a sofa for two additional persons. For improved comfort, we also put a mattress topper (4 centimeters thick) on the sofa. It is possible to arrange the use of a baby cot. An air conditioning unit is installed in the apartment. The surrounding area is popular among hikers and cycling enthusiasts. Apartment Urban Nature is, also, a "bike friendly" accommodation. We have safe place (ground floor garage) where we can accommodate the bikes and equipment of our guests. If you are cyclotourist we can offer you additional options: - accepting cyclotourists only for one night, - loundry room(washing machine, clothes rack, iron, ironing board, clothes drying in case of rain), - the ability to use tools for simple repairs, - possibility of renting a quality mountain bike and recommendation for another bicycle renter at the destination (phone and address). If you are a motorist, the ground floor garage can also be available for storing motorcycles and equipment overnight, and all that we can offer to bikers - also for free. Guest access The building has a separate laundry room (laundry room) with a washing machine, laundry detergents, a drying rack, iron and ironing board that are available to you during your stay in the apartment, and will help you enjoy excursions and tourist tours without fear that you will not be able to wear your favorite shirt again during your vacation. The fire from the wood-burning stove creates a pleasant ambience during the autumn and winter months. You can prepare the firewood yourself in a nearby woodshed or we will do it for you. Next to the apartment there is a garden with seasonal vegetables that you can pick during the summer months and add to the dishes you prepare. Other things to note In the summer months, the nearest beach on the Adriatic coast is only 40 minutes by car to Senj, while during the winter you can ski for only 50 minutes by car to Mukinje (Plitvice Lakes) or enjoy sledding on the trail of the Cvituša Excursion in Lovinac, only hour's drive from the Urban Nature apartment. If you want to visit the world-famous Plitvice Lakes, please note that the number of tickets available per hour and per entrance is limited, and we recommend that you book your tickets on time, at least two days before your planned visit. Kayaking and canoeing on Gacka, hiking on Velebit, cycling on landscaped bike trails, quad biking and the longest European zip-line in Vrhovine are part of the adventure offer. The Sanctuary for Young Bears in Kuterevo, the Velebit House in Krasno, the Memorial Center "Nikola Tesla" in Smiljan, the Cave Park Grabovača in Perušić, Tonković and Majer's Whirlpool in Sinac, the National Parks Plitvice Lakes and Northern Velebit are unavoidable tourist offers and attractions, and are located nearby, i.e. from 10 minutes to a maximum of an hour's drive from the Urban Nature apartment. For fishing enthusiasts, fly fishing on the Gacka River, a world-famous trout river, is a must. The peculiarity of Otočac and Gacka Valley is the proximity of the Adriatic Sea, but also the pleasant summer nights for sleeping in Otočac, which after enjoying the sun and the sea guarantee an unforgettable summer vacation. If you want to swim in the sea, the nearest beach is a 40-minute drive to Senj. During the winter months, enjoy the snowy joys and then warm your soul and body with the crackling of the fireplace and the tasting of the widely known Lika plum brandy in our apartment. During Advent, enjoy the many fair and musical activities organized during Advent in Otočac - Christmas Magic in Gacka. Celebrate the New Year in the central town square in Otočac and end the year with a New Year's toast in Otočac, in the Urban Nature apartment.
