Description
Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. A graduate of MIT, she was the first woman to be licensed as an architect in the US. The space The Guest Suite at the Amberg House is a wonderfully isolated space with a private entrance, beautifully appointed bedroom and bath, adjacent sitting room with desk, wonderfully equipped kitchen and laundry. When the weather is fine, you'll also be able to enjoy the gardens, pond and waterfall, just outside your windows. Other things to note The city of Grand Rapids requires short term rental properties to be licensed. The Amberg House is fully credentialed. Our license number is HOB-0094.
