Chalet in Julian

We are an intentional community stewarding wild land, 3 homes, apple orchard, kitchen garden and art showcases. We encourage guests to find refreshment out in nature while staying with us. Our hospitality house offers 4 private spaces between $70 and $90 per night. Specific rooms accommodate 2-4 persons. All use shared bathrooms. We include coffee or tea and muffins in the morning and concierge services throughout your stay ! THIS LISTING IS THE KING MUSIC ROOM (sleeps 2 - description below). The space Julian is San Diego's back country treasure and we think our property is a special gem in the mix ! Most visitors comment on how peaceful they feel when they have stayed with us and many come back for return trips to get more of that feeling. This room is on our ground floor. It features a sumptuous, pillow top king size bed, a display of musical instruments, a huge bay window for lots of fresh air (as desired) and direct access to a beautiful, newly remodeled (shared) bathroom. Guest access 5 parklike acres with walking trail and several quaint sitting spaces , large deck and patios with GREAT views , wireless internet, HDMI connector to link your laptop with living room big screen (w/in time constraints) , guided outdoor adventures (sometimes available w/ release of liability). With 30+ yrs. experience exploring the area , we love sharing advice on...hiking/biking trails , restaurants , live music , beer & wine tasting , etc. .. as they are all nearby .. plus all of the charming shops of Julian ! During your stay Depends on guests' desire for conversation : We can offer suggestions on sightseeing, restaurants, wineries/breweries , etc. -OR- - We are just as happy to provide simple , quiet respite. Other things to note Julian is known as the back country of San Diego and as an original gold rush town from the 1870's. So, all things old timey and new can be found here. We are happy to share some of the area's cultural and/or natural history with anyone interested.
