Second Heaven Cottage

Second Heaven Cottage is a family owned and maintained getaway in Harcourt. Nestled among trees with a wonderful view of Long Lake 30 yards away. The lake is no motors allowed which makes it rich, with nature all year round. The swimming in summer is the best to be had! Fall colours are exquisite, views from the cottage and local nearby hiking. Winter activities abound! Within 1/2 km of the best snowmobiling trails in Ontario and snowshoeing outside your door, directly into the woods. The space Please bring your own queen size sheets, pillow cases, and your own bath towels, hand towels and dish towels. All other amenities are supplied. i.e. toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, hair dryer, kitchen dishes, cookware and basic spices available. Drinking water is supplied. Cooking water can be drawn from the filtered water tap. Bring your own phosphate free shampoos, body wash. 4x4 or AWD and snow tires are a must in fall and winter. The cottage roads are hard packed snow and well maintained, however winter happens fast and roads may not be plowed immediately. Guest access Parking for 3 cars or trucks on site. Parking for snowmobile trailers is available close by within 200m. Other things to note The cottages main source of heat is the wood burning stove. Baseboard heat is supplemental. Firewood for heat and kindling supplied. Campfire wood is not supplied, please bring your own.
