There is a duality that is sometimes difficult to bear in my profession. As I welcome guests, I see wonderful couples come and go, extremely kind people with whom I am sure I would have a thousand things to share. Sometimes, a tinge of regret touches me: that of not opening the door to deeper, more human communication with these wonderful people. But my concept is a promise, and that promise is one of privacy. I designed this place primarily for couples. So that, for a brief respite, they can be alone in the world, without any interference, not even mine.
