Our relaxing, small-town home has a sky view that assures you'll see every star on a clear night and the peaceful location make for the perfect place to stay. It is surrounded by some of the best hunting and fishing locations in the Mid-west. The house is located only 10 miles from Lovewell State Park, 10 miles from the Jamestown Marsh Wildlife area, and 40 miles from Waconda Lake . Also, Belleville, Mankato, Beloit and Concordia are all within a 30 minute drive. You will have full access to the house and plenty of privacy. We have recently renovated the 2 bathrooms, living and dining space. The three bedrooms are set up to sleep 7 to assure you and your company a good night's rest. We have shampoo if you need some. You will also have access to our the garage for your vehicle if needed. Currently there is basic cable tv on the projector and there is also a DVD player that is connected to our wifi with a Netflix subscription. After you check in, you will have the house to yourselves. If you need anything else, you can reach us by cell phone as we only live 2 blocks away. This is a quiet, small town neighborhood full of friendly people. Expect most people to wave at you while driving down the road. The Barn is a great place to catch up on local news, enjoy a wonderful home-cooked meal, or grab a beer. Be sure to sit at the circle table to be entertained by some interesting locals. There is plenty of parking space if hauling a camper, boat, trailer, etc. The house is located 5-15 minutes away from a grocery store, liquor store, hardware store, convenience store/gas, and restaurants. In the town of Formoso there is a bar-n-grill just up the road called “The Barn” that is open every day but Saturday.
