Piesta Kuusikaru riverside cottage in Soomaa area

This modern cottage is part of Piesta Kuusikaru farm, our family home, set on the bank of Pärnu river in Soomaa region in western/central Estonia. The cottage is a bright and spacious 2-storey building, designed in nordic style, with wood-burning sauna. Perfect for one family or close friends; ideal for 2 persons, fine for 4 plus an infant sleeping in baby cot. We live onsite and will be happy to show you around the farm including organic apple orchard and the "slow food" production facility. The space The cottage is located within few steps of Parnu River and overlooks our organic orchard as well as the farm's garden. It is distant enough from the main house to allow privacy and let you enjoy the nature. Please note that you cannot drive quite to the door, there is approx 75m walk from the parking place. We have designed the cottage in a nordic style, hoping you will feel relaxed and cosy. The large windows let in lots of light and fresh air (while mosquito nets keep out the unwanted visitors). For an EXTRA charge, you are welcome to use the wood-heated sauna. Please note the cottage does NOT have a full kitchen - there is a refrigerator, microwave oven and water kettle. You will also have the option of using charcoal grill outside. Our tap water is of excellent drinking quality, so no need to bring along bottled water. About sleeping arrangements, please note there are 2 beds in total: - bedroom with one queen bed (160 cm) is located upstairs, - one sofa bed (160 cm) is in the open hall next to the bedroom upstairs. Additionally, there is a baby cot available. The bedding as well as towels are provided for you. Guest access The cottage has terraces all around, so on sunny summer days you can enjoy morning coffee or a BBQ evening outside. For our younger guests there is a playground next to the cottage. For an extra charge, you are welcome to use the wood-heated sauna. Other things to note Please note the cottage does NOT have a full kitchen - there is a refrigerator, microwave oven and water kettle, additionally also charcoal grill available outside. EXTRA charge applies for using the wood-heated sauna in the cottage.
