Three Tops Salybia Eco Cabin

Three Tops Salybia is a nature friendly eco cabin located in the Matura Nature Reserve in Trinidad and Tobago. The cabin is the powered by an off-grid solar system and features close access to a secluded river. This location is perfect for Eco-seekers, bird watchers and nature enthusiasts seeking a quiet and tranquil getaway. The space The rental accommodation is an open plan STUDIO setting on the lower level of the main Eco Cabin. There is one King sized bed, one double bed and a couch that folds out to a single bed in the open space. High speed internet access provided via Starlink WIFI. There is a fully outfitted kitchen, lounging hammock and two seater couch and a well presented bathroom with hot and cold water. Guests also have access to an adjacent outdoor deck with gas grill, an outdoor shower, and 1 min walk to thea nearby river with clear bathing pools. The Matura Rainforest is home to several species of birds, flora and fauna. Guest access Hiking trail access to the Rio Seco waterfall, exploring along the river and bathing pools, Turtle Watching sites, sea bathing. Other things to note The accommodation is on the second level of the main cabin. Electricity is generated by a 4KW solar system. There are ceiling fans, but no washing machine, dryer, A/C and guests will be asked to conserve during their stay. Rain water is collected for bathing and washing and there is hot and cold water. Bottled drinking water will be provided. Because of the location, there are no large grocery stores in the immediate area. Basic amenities provided but guests will need to bring groceries. The host is willing to provide a grocery drop-off service at cost. NB: The cabin is situated in the Matura Rainforest which is home to many different species of birds and insects. During the rainy season, there may be sandflies especially around dusk - insect repellant is provided and advised. If you have a significant phobia of insects, this place may not be right for you.
