Once a US NAVY officers' residence, it's now transformed by SURFERS and YOGA practitioners, each Nest offering peace and a deep connection with nature. There is one PARKING spot for Piti Nest in the front of the house. From the garage, the entrance is the black steel mesh door on the right. The famous FRUIT BATS of Subic Bay now live in the tree directly above our house, so you will see, hear, and smell them when you arrive. Piti Nest is an approx 30 sqm apartment. Upon entering the unit, you will find yourself in the KITCHEN, which is separated from the garden by a BAR. There is a sliding door which leads to the LIVING ROOM, where the sofa bed is. The BATHROOM, though small, has its own quirky charm with a pocket garden and SKYLIGHTS letting in natural light. The narrow KITCHENETTE is fully equipped with a two-burner stove, pots, pans, a toaster, and a kettle with a French press for your morning coffee fix. The BEDROOM features a queen bed with ample pillows and sheets, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Plus, the bathroom opens up to a private POCKET GARDEN, adding a touch of nature to your stay. Guest access Piti Nest, with a kitchen, living room, and bathroom is your PRIVATE HOME for the duration of your stay. The bedroom has a QUEEN BED and ample pillows and sheets. Towels are provided for each guest. The BATHROOM is open to a private POCKET GARDEN. The WATER PRESSURE is strong, and there is hot and cold water, and a bidet! The LIVING ROOF keeps the space cool, with cozy nooks for reading, blogging, or enjoying the treetops and fruit bats. Wake up to nature's sounds, fresh air, and the rainforest's gentle symphony. The KITCHEN is fully-equipped (except a microwave) and includes SELF-SERVICE BREAKFAST. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast of homemade sourdough bread, peanut butter with cacao, eggs, bananas, and our exclusive Mindanao coffee blend. The WATER is potable, and most residents drink from the tap. You can also purchase The Nest by the Sea's CHAMPORADO via our shop. :) This house is equipped with FIBER INTERNET and STARLINK backup for continuous online access. Because we live in such a woody area, sometimes our internet connection is disconnected by monkeys or falling trees. The ROOF is a nice spot to chill in the daytime, and features a couple of swings, and we place hammocks out there when it’s not raining. AROUND YOU Piti guests can access a nearby POOL for a fee, and a LAUNDROMAT is available just a few blocks away. There are a couple of CONVENIENCE STORES and a small EATERY just up the hill from our Nest. While we can't guarantee total control of the wildlife, please reach out to us if you feel uncomfortable if they do wander inside your Nest, and we'll try to have this addressed in the soonest possible time. DISCOUNTS Our guests often regret not booking longer, so we've added in discounts for stays of 2 nights or more. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Treat yourself to that extra day! DAYTIME GUESTS We charge a daytime guest fee of P500 per guest. Please let us know if you will be entertaining guests in our Nest. PETS Guests with pets should coordinate with us and undergo a simple approval process when booking. This is to ensure the well-being and safety of all occupants of our Nests. Please CLEAN UP after your pets. For guests booked in Opal Building and Rainforest Nest, the Crown Peak Management is imposing a P5,000 waste fine in common use areas such as, and not limited to, hallways, parks and sidewalks within the Crown Peak area. WORKSHOP We have a small workshop in the corner of the house, near the road. You may hear some minor work going on there in the weekdays, but it’s mostly used for storage. FACADE Our home is an old Navy stilt house. The entire house is split into 6 AirBNB units. The house may be old, but it was built by the US Navy to withstand air raids. It's extremely sound, and newly renovated. REBOOKING In line with our firm cancellation policy, we do not allow rebooking less than 2 weeks before your stay. CLEANING AND SHEET CHANGES In our effort to reduce unnecessary use resources, cleaning and sheet changes are conducted every 3 days for longer stays. Should you want your sheets to be changed daily, this can be arranged for an extra cleaning fee. ACTIVITIES Subic has great activities for all types of groups and individuals.
