Tranquility is guaranteed, while being a 15-minute walk from the heart of the village. ​⚠️ Note (Rules and Practical Information) ​Children: The accommodation is not suitable for children under 10 years old due to areas without barriers and at height. ​Smoking: Entirely non-smoking house (smoking is only allowed outside). ​Pets: No pets allowed. ​Owners: We live on the same property, independently and with the utmost discretion. ​We like to share an aperitif or a meal with our tenants, if you like! ​To guarantee your privacy, access to the pool by the owners will only be in your absence and with the utmost discretion. Other things to note HOUSE RULES OF THE "LOU DAMISSELO" GITE Welcome to our gîte. For the comfort and safety of all and the preservation of the premises, we ask that you read and scrupulously respect the following rules. These rules are based on common sense and civility; no breach will be tolerated. 1. Use of the swimming pool and its surroundings • Sunscreen: It is strictly forbidden to use sunscreen or sun oil (of any kind) before swimming. The components of these products seriously damage the pool control sensor equipment. • Swimming attire: Swimming costumes with metal or rigid parts that could scratch the glass wall are prohibited. In the event of damage, even for a single scratch, a flat-rate compensation of €2,000 will be required for the repair of the wall. • Glass and fragile objects: The use of glass containers (glasses, bottles) is strictly prohibited around the pool. In case of breakage, the shards become invisible in the water and create a major risk of cuts. If this incident occurs, you will be charged €1,450 to cover the restoration costs (complete emptying, cleaning, and treatment products). • Pool maintenance: It is strictly forbidden to scratch the glass wall with any object. Only the owner is authorized to clean the pool and its components. • Equipment room: Access to the pool equipment room is strictly forbidden to tenants. 2. Terrace, pool area, and outdoors • Indoor furniture and moisture: It is strictly forbidden to lie down or sit on the cushions of the wicker sofas and on the fabric chairs inside the gite when you are wet. Chlorine causes irreversible discoloration. Any damage found will be charged at €450 per damaged cushion or chair. Sun loungers and outdoor chairs are specifically provided for this purpose outside. • Barbecue and pizza oven: As the gite is located in a green area subject to a severe fire risk, the use of the barbecue or pizza oven is subject to the prefectural and municipal orders in force. The departmental authorities may prohibit their use at any time; this prohibition must then be strictly respected. 3. Interior of the gîte and amenities • Air conditioning: Air conditioners must be turned off if you decide to leave doors or windows open to the outside. In the event of non-compliance, a penalty of €40 per 12-hour period will be applied. • Respect for the equipment: It is imperative that you respect the equipment at your disposal and take the utmost care of it. You are entering a clean cottage with amenities in perfect working condition; the premises must be returned as you found them upon your arrival. 4. Electric charging station An electric vehicle charging station is available for your use. Its use is subject to the owner's prior authorization. You will be charged for the electricity consumed at the kWh rate in effect on the day of your use. 5. Tranquility and schedules • Quiet hours (noise disturbances): In accordance with French law, nighttime noise is prohibited. Noise must be kept to a moderate level during the day, and absolute silence must be respected from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. • Check-out time: On the day your stay ends, the cottage must be vacated by 10:00 AM at the latest.
