Tranquil Oak Lodge Farm Stay

Back to basics, rustic farm experience. Situated at the foot of the Riviersonderend Mountain Range, this lodge is an old renovated farm cottage. If you are looking for a quiet space to reconnect with nature this is the place to visit. There are hiking trails, 4x4 and MTB routes to explore and many dams to swim and fish in. All with the most incredible views. Don't be alarmed if you also run across the occasional sheep, cow or farm dog. The space For the true rustic experience lanterns and fire pits light things up in the evening. Although there is no electricity, there is a gas fridge/freezer and we supply power banks to charge phones, tablets and laptops. The private Ladies and Gents bathrooms are outside and a fire warmed outdoor geyser warms up the water for the showers and the Jacuzzi. There is ample space around the lodge, so on a particularly starry night you are welcome to camp out on the lawn as well. We will supply all the wood needed for heating the outdoor geyser.
