Fully equipped 3 bedroom home, right downtown, on a beautiful tree-lined street in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood. Walk down the block, strolling past the park & Rochester's best grocery store, grab a slice from our prize-winning neighborhood pizzeria, and arrive at The Clinic, shopping & restaurants. We're around the corner from the bus stop, but you won't need it - everything you need is within walking distance. Return "home" to a peaceful oasis, to rejuvenate for your next day. The space Exquisite home, lovingly decorated and maintained, right downtown, in the coveted Historic Southwest neighborhood. Just minutes from Mayo Clinic and St. Mary's. A couple of blocks from parks, bicycle & walking paths, shopping, restaurants....you name it. Very cozy and spacious 2nd floor master bedroom features a king-sized bed and scrumptious bedding, with flannel in the winter and pure cotton throughout the rest of the year. Down the hall you'll find the queen-sized room and the "kid's room," both also with super comfy bedding that fits the seasons. The bathroom, which is on the 2nd floor, includes an extra-large Jacuzzi tub, to help you unwind after those long days at The Clinic. The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's delight, with everything you'll need to create gourmet meals. Or, head right to the dining room or patio with take-out from any of Rochester's great restaurants. Feel free to ask for suggestions. As a side note: we do rent a bottom-level apartment to one of The Mayo Clinic's hardworking scientist/physicians. The unit has a separate entrance, is fully self-contained, and completely independent from the main house. Guest access Make yourself at home. It's all yours: the kitchen is equipped with gourmet cookware and all the small appliances you'll need to prepare delicious meals - even home-made ice cream! Relax in the living room, with Netflix (sorry - no cable or broadcast TV), great books, or any of our whimsical puzzles. Soak in the spacious jacuzzi after a long day, or hang out in the backyard patio and BBQ a meal with the gas-powered grill. Park your car in the garage and walk the few blocks to The Clinic, to get some fresh air and save on parking fees. Feel free to borrow a bike, too, but please lock it up whenever you're not riding it. Other things to note While we have listed a 3PM check-in and a noon check-out, we're flexible and will do what we can to accommodate your timing needs - just ask. There will be an additional $140 cleaning fee for pets. Please notify us if you're planning on bringing your furry kids. We have bikes! If they are free, you can borrow one, if you promise to ALWAYS & WITHOUT FAIL lock it up, when you aren't using it.
