Guesthouse in Minneapolis

New 2017 built Tiny House perfect for travelers. Close to light rail. Comes with original poetry. New finishes include W/D, full kitchen, 3/4 bath w/large shower, A/C, fast WiFi internet, desk. Queen size bed and convertible couch will accommodate three adults. Quiet family friendly south Minneapolis location with less than 10 min walk to light rail easily connected to downtown and the airport. High chair and pack and play available upon request. The space Fully furnished 357 sqft house on a foundation. It has an open studio floor plan best suited for 1-2 travelers but can sleep a 3rd adult on the convertible couch. Completely private, this house is referred to as an Accessory Dwelling Unit that I designed and built the summer of 2017. It is not complete, there are some exterior finishing details yet to do but it is very comfortable for you and all of my previous guests. Solidly built by my team and clad in steel, it is unlike any other single family home in this metro area. Queen size "Purple Original" Combination washer and dryer is efficient, easy to use with instructions provided and laundry detergent is provided. Full kitchen is stocked with the basic tools needed to assemble and store a simple meal. Coffee maker, toaster, etc... the basics. I'm open to suggestions. 3/4 bath has a large shower with a built in seat. Towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, hair dryer are provided. The house is connected to the internet. A smart television and a WIFI router are connected to that internet. There is not broad cast television. You can log into your own Netflix, or Hulu from the menu on the tv and stream your own content. You can also surf the web with the remote. You can bring your own casting device and plug into the HDMI port on the tv. There is not cable tv in the house. I have two security cameras mounted on the exterior of the house. They are used for safety and security of my vehicle and mural only. For safety's sake, I would suggest as good practice to keep you and your belongings secure as you see fit and take precautionary measures. The mural and paintings on the exterior of the house were painted by native to MN artist Deuce 7. Guest access This house is in the back of the lot and is accessible via the alley off of Dight Ave. It can be a little hard to find because of its privacy and setback from 42nd St but rest assured, it is there and if you need help finding it, you can contact me via txt or phone. You'll have full access to all that this house has to offer within and mostly outside of it on the property. However, the parking pad and fenced yard of the other house is off limits to guests. The parking pad is for my vehicle only. There is plenty of street parking in front of the guest house on Dight Ave. Other things to note The television only works for internet based content like streaming services such as Netflix etc.. Plan on 3 hours for a small load of laundry to wash and fully dry. Instructions for the machine are in the Domus Manual. Much less laundry detergent is better as the machine uses much less water. Please do not attempt to fix a house appliance you think may be broken. Instead, contact me immediatly about it. This house is in compliance with Minneapolis Short-term rental regulations.
