In this fjord cabin you will wake up in idyllic surroundings, with a fantastic sea-view and the forest, mountains and fjord close by. The cottage is spacious and open, and offers a calm atmosphere with the fragrance of sea and magical sunsets. There are great hiking opportunities right out the door. A day trip to Trolltunga, Preikestolen, Langfoss, Bondhusbrea (glacier) and many other great local attractions. For skiers and alpine enthusiasts, it's about 1 hour to beautiful Røldal and Seljestad. The space The fjord cabins are located by a pier and there are six boathouses, where three are furnished as a rental unit. At the entrance there is a separate sheltered sun area with outdoor furniture and the possibility of borrowing a barbecue. The fjord cabin is divided into 2 levels. On the upper level is a bedroom and large living room, there are built in 2 separate sleeping alcoves in the living room. On the lower level there is a bathroom, kitchen, dining area and bedroom, as well as a balcony door to the pier. All beds are single beds and have their own duvet and pillow. Bed linen must be rented or brought along. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a combined refrigerator and freezer. It is also possible to borrow a larger freezer in your own shed for large-scale fishing etc. Guest access Good parking space right by the cottage and road all the way down. Are many nice old roads that provide great rides by vehicle or bike. It's 4km into the center along a relatively low-traffic road, can also hike the trails in the woods into the center, and over mountains to Etne. By public transport, there is a bus that goes past this road, and a passenger boat that is based on the quay in Skånevik center. Tickets are available on the shuttle app or skyss.no. Our stop for bus is Skoga. Other things to note If you need equipment for little kids, like stroller, bed, chair etc you can borrow that for free. Also available for rent is: Bedding and towel: 100 NOK per person. Motorboat for fishing and fun: 500 NOK per day. Canoe: 250NOK per day. SUP-Board: 250NOK per day. Lifejacket and proper training is included.
