Although the property is situated in the middle of a small village, it gives its blind northern facade to its neighbours and enjoys wide open views across an expanse of lush mediterranean vegetation towards green hills covered by pines and cypress trees in the distance. The main house consists of an open living room and kitchen/dining area on the first floor. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first and the second floor. The ground floor, accessed externally, is a large open space appointed as a summer kitchen with a comfortable dining area for a cloudy or windy day. There is also a maid’s room, and a toilet. The cottage is an attractive two level space with a high ceiling and plenty of light. Originally concieved by the owners as an extra living space for those who needed to work in peace, or wanted to read or write, if needed, it can serve as a guest house as well. The interiors (air-conditioned and centrally heated) are decorated mostly with the original furniture of the family. The courtyard in front of the house is protected from view by the cottage on one side and by an old wall on the other. It leads onto to a pergola-covered terrace with a stone-built barbecue, a perfect summer dining area, overlooking the nearby swimming pool. Apart from the dining area and the poolside terraces there are two more terraces and a wooden platform in the garden for those seeking a quiet corner only for themselves. A fifteen minutes' walk from the house will take you to the edge of the Konavle cliffs offering a breathtaking view of the open sea and of the Pasjaca beach below, reached by a safe man-made path. A horse farm in the village offers possibilities of horseback riding through the countryside. Closest food store - 4 kms away, restaurants 5-7 kms away, such as Leut and Kolona in Cavtat, Komin in Uskoplje and Koraceva Kuca in Gruda.
