Michel: Cosy GDR retro camper behind the dyke

Michel is a typical GDR caravan that stands out due to its special shape. It has been modernised and is now parked at the Auszeit 27 campsite in Süssau. A small, very natural campsite directly behind the dyke on the Baltic Sea. A highlight is the sun terrace directly in front of the caravan with table and chairs. The space Whether for camping beginners or lovers of classic, well-designed caravans, we believe that our Michel will quickly win everyone over. Michel has been lovingly furnished by us. The ceiling height of our little snuggle ball is approx. 1.75 m - which might be a little low for tall people. The open lifting roof adds another 10 cm to the ceiling height. As we are currently planning a solar system for our retro camper, we have already converted our Michel to a 12 V system. This means that all the lights run on energy-saving LEDs and we have installed two USB sockets for charging mobile phones etc. Our aim is for the caravans to be energy self-sufficient in the medium term so that we can benefit from 100% renewable electricity. Another milestone for our sustainable campsite. 230 V is not available in Michel, but can otherwise be used in the laundry room. For cooking, you can use our communal barbecue and our communal kitchen with pots and pans. You will find crockery and cutlery directly in Michel - you don't need to bring anything with you. There are also several restaurants just a few metres away - fish sandwiches are also available. You can also book a four-hour sauna session with us. You then have the sauna just for you, including your own terrace and outdoor shower. A highlight is of course a dip in the Baltic Sea after sweating. The sun terrace in front of Michel is furnished with two chairs and a table so that you can enjoy the hopefully glorious weather outside at any time. There are two duvets and pillows in the caravan, so please bring your own duvet covers and a sheet. And remember, our caravans do not have heating. If cold weather is forecast, we recommend that you also bring sleeping bags. Guest access The Retro-Camper is self-contained. You will receive an access code shortly before arrival, with which you can collect the key from a key box yourself.
