With modern decor and all amenities, this home is perfect for experiencing Bohuslän's beautiful archipelago, nature and proximity to cities like Gothenburg. Floor plan OF the apartment: Kitchen – fully equipped for both simpler meals and party dinners Bedroom – two bedrooms with a total of four beds Living room – spacious and comfortable for cosy evenings Bathroom – fresh and modern Private patio – overlooking the fjord and inviting furniture for lovely meals in the evening sun Extra amenities for families with children: High chair, travel cot (with extra mattress, please let us know if you want to use it), changing bed, as well as children's cutlery and cups. Just outside the apartment there are a parking lot with room for two cars. From here you step directly out onto your private patio with barbecue, sun sail and panoramic view of the fjord – perfect for relaxing from early afternoon until sunset. As a fully self-contained accommodation, you have total privacy and can relax without disturbing moments. With its location, Sundstrand is the ideal starting point for discovering Bohuslän's gems and Dalsland's scenic surroundings. Exploring nearby: - Torp Shopping Mall – 10-12 minutes drive for shopping, food and restaurants - Bohuslän archipelago – a short drive to picturesque islands and cliff baths - Uddevalla's boardwalk – perfect for an afternoon stroll along the water - Gustavsberg – charming older seaside resort with cafes and historic buildings. - Smögenbryggan – about 50 min away, a summer favorite with docks, shops and restaurants - Kosterhavets National Park – an hour away, Sweden's first marine national park - Nice coastal walks and child-friendly beaches are in the area around Sundsstrand and if you wish it is possible to walk along the coast into Uddevalla city. On the way you will experience the nice boardwalk. For families with children: - Barnens Lekland i Uddevalla (Stellas Lekland) - Adventure swimming in Vänersborg – within 30 min for play and swimming - Several outdoor swimming pools and playgrounds in Uddevalla, which are free and full of fun activities during summer. - In the area about 300 meters from the apartment there are several playgrounds to enjoy. - Uddevalla museum with activities and indoor playgrounds for children (Free). - Emaus farm is located on Kapelle in Uddevalla and has free admission and activities for children all year. - Playground, seating benches and barbecues are on site and can be used freely. - Rimnersbadet is a good and affordable offer for families with children who wish to swim. The adventure bath opened in 2024 and can offer something for kids of any age. - At Bjursjön there is outdoor gym, swimming area by the lake, cross country skiing in the winter and walking paths in the summer for those who want outdoor activities. Other things to note Our guests are responsible for cleaning before departing. Please let us know if you wish otherwise. Guests make their own beds and remove bed linens before departure. Please put used bedding in the laundry basket. Bring or ask for sheets for the crib (we don't charge a fee for babies up to 2 years). There is a press brewer for coffee. So, think about buying coffee that's right for a press maker. If you wish to use the grill, bring your own charcoal.
