We welcome you in our guest rooms located in our family house in Uzeste in New Aquitaine, 1 hour from Bordeaux and the Atlantic Ocean (Arcachon-Biscarosse), 1h30 from the Pyrenees and 2 hours from Toulouse. Close to the Graves and Sauternes vineyards, in the heart of the Landes Girondines and on the outskirts of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, the property is located at the gateway to the historic city of Bazas. A long alley of century-old plane trees leads you to a vast house of the XIXth century surrounded by a park sported by more than 3ha made up of rare and varied species. This unique place, ideal for walks, daydreams and outdoor games, allows our guests to relax in peaceful surroundings in the midst of centuries-old trees. The house is made up of an architecture that is both original and complex, its pavilions, its differences in levels and its various roofs give it a manor look. It is surrounded by a large Louisiana style gallery with numerous pillars covered with rose bushes and clematis. Facing the park, the terrace is a convivial place where we like to share the breakfasts in the quiet, in the countryside and in the shade of chestnut trees. The rooms are independent, all on one level and facing south. Large bay windows overlook a patio with the park in perspective. The main entrance to the guests allows access to a large room shared between the guests where they can indulge in the pleasures of reading at the corner of an imposing 19th century fireplace. A family home for several generations, Les Luz-Chambres d'hôtes is the ideal place to be alone or with family. The seasonal outdoor pool is surrounded by flower beds and is ideal for swimming and siesta on hot days.
