Spacious cabin in beautiful sourroundings

My family- and eco-friendly cabin is located in a popular hiking and cross country skiing area called Synnfjell. It is on a sunny space in the forest (900m height). The cabin has å large, sunny veranda with a nice panorama., icluding “Spåtind” (the highest top in the region, 1414 m height). You can use the wood fired sauna which is placed in a separate small cabin in traditional style. The space The cabin is eco-friendly (off-grid) but quite comfortable. Electricity is produced by solar panels and stored in batteries. All the rooms have electric light. There is a DAB radio, TV with DVD and HDMI input, charging points for mobile devices/laptop and a state of the art organic vacuum toilet. A wood stove is used for heating. Oven and fridge are gas driven. There is no running water in the cabin but you find å fountain 100 meters down the way. Here you can fill cans with an easily handled hand pump. You can shower outside, in front of the sauna using a battery-operated shower. If you arrive by car (recommended) you can park in front of the cabin. The area is very quiet, the nearest neighbors are 100m away.
