However, it's essential to reserve these in advance to ensure availability and a seamless experience. Please note that the traditional barn on the property is off-limits to guests for safety reasons. Other things to note Casatico sits on a hillside looking out over vineyards, countryside and the Apennines in the distance. It's genuinely rural, our neighbours keep dogs, and they can be heard, occasionally at night. Most guests take it as part of the setting; if you're a light sleeper, it's worth knowing before you book. The garden is shared with an on-site ceramic studio, which the artist uses occasionally.
