The space A cozy sofa area awaits you in the living room. Here you can relax in front of the TV or prepare a cocktail or drink at the bar specially designed for the apartment, pop homemade popcorn with the popcorn machine or play board games. The bar can also be used as a shared desk. It offers enough space for laptops and monitors. The chessboard on the glass table invites you to a cozy game in the evening hours. In the kitchen, all the necessary utensils and cookbooks are available for preparing delicious dishes. From here you can reach the terrace where the grill invites you to barbecue under the parasol. The bedroom on the garden side offers rest and relaxation. Numerous books and the electric fireplace contribute to this. There is ample space for clothes and shoes in the walk-in dressing room. The dressing table with mirror is part of this room. In the bathroom, bath salts are available for well-deserved relaxation in the bathtub. Guest access The apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-family house and has its own apartment entrance. Other things to note Due to the proximity to the A4 and A44 highways, the area is ideally suited for reaching Cologne in 25 minutes (Phantasialand in Brühl 45 minutes / Mondo Verde amusement park in Landgraaf or Gaia Zoo in Kerkrade 30 minutes), Düsseldorf, Maastricht, the Belgian Ardennes or the Eifel and Monschau. When the weather is nice, you can reach the Belgian/Dutch coast in about 2.5 hours. Knokke-Heist, The Hague, Amsterdam, Renesse or Antwerp are impressive destinations. You can reach the city of Aachen in 15 minutes. Nearby is also the small Merzbrück airport. Here you can take off and land small planes in good weather or book a round flight over Aachen and the surrounding area. Unique Balkan cuisine with a diverse salad buffet is available at the Albatros restaurant, right on the airport grounds. Some farmers in the area offer fresh fruits and vegetables and are looking forward to your visit. If you like to travel by bus, the bus stop is just a few meters from the house. From here you can reach Aachen in 20 minutes and Eschweiler in 5 minutes. Numerous supermarkets and shops are also within walking distance of the house. The newly opened Fast Market is just 20 meters from the house. Snacks, sweets and numerous drinks are available here daily until midnight. 2 charging stations for electric vehicles with free parking are also close at hand, just a 3-minute walk from the apartment, right in front of the Gotha insurance office. Bicycles can be stored safely and dry inside the property. Free parking is available in sufficient quantity in front of and around the house. It is essential to mention the Blausteinsee, where beautiful walks around the lake offer thorough relaxation. In summer, the outdoor swimming pool in Dürwiss awaits you. It is only a few minutes away by car, and you can spend unforgettable summer days here :)
