Our new apartment in the attic of our privately run hotel is located in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and is the ideal starting point to discover the land of 1000 lakes, castles & manor houses as well as endless beaches. The location on the edge of the historic old town is perfect. Shopping is available in the immediate vicinity. But in the hotel there is also a very good restaurant with honest, seasonal and regional cuisine, where you can also have an excellent breakfast. The space As a special feature of our apartment, each room has its own internal bathroom with shower and toilet as well as TV. The living room with combined kitchen has a beautiful view of the castle garden and the old town. The kitchen is fully equipped and if something is missing, we will help immediately. In two rooms, an extra bed would even be possible for a child, for example, at an additional cost. One dog is also allowed upon request. The house is largely barrier-free and two elevators are available Guest access The reception of our hotel is staffed 24 hours a day. The separate apartment is on the 3rd floor and is accessible via its own entrance. Via the main entrance, there is also the possibility to use elevators. In addition to the apartment, you also have all the other rooms of the hotel such as foyer with bar and terrace, playroom for the little ones, restaurant, sauna (extra charge), bicycle cellar, laundry room with washing machine and dryer (extra charge). In order to meet the current situation, the hygiene guidelines have been further tightened and all framework conditions have been changed to ensure maximum safety for guests and employees at the Hotel am Schlosspark in Güstrow. • All employees have been intensively trained on the necessary hygiene guidelines • All employees with cold symptoms must stop working immediately • All cleaning work is intensified • Any crowding is avoided and the distance requirement of at least 1.50 is strictly adhered to • All employees have received three mouth and nose protectors (washable) • Whenever the minimum distance cannot be maintained, employees wear a face mask • Disinfectant dispensers are installed at all entrance areas, at the elevators and in front of the public toilets at the entrance. Reception / Check-in / Check-out / Lobby • Our foyer is a large, ventilated area, • Wearing a face mask is recommended • The waiting areas have been divided with distance tapes with a minimum distance of 1.50, as well as a sign "Please keep your distance". • The reception and bar are equipped with a plexiglass spit protection wall between staff and guest • There are also 1.5 m distance markings on the floor • The registration form is completed and signed by each guest and verified with an official document. • Ballpoint pens are disinfected after use • Guests can voluntarily perform a non-contact body temperature measurement • Preference for contactless payments by invoice in advance, by credit card and by mobile phone • We guarantee that all room keys are disinfected • Face masks are available at reception for a donation to support the Güstrower Tafel • All brochure displays are removed for this purpose there is a digital guest folder Rooms • Disinfection of all light switches/handles/surfaces/remote controls etc. during each cleaning • Ventilation of the rooms during the entire cleaning time of approx. 30 minutes with the window fully open (not tilted!) – where possible with a draft • Change of cleaning cloths after each room • Cleaning staff work with face masks • All guest information and brochures are removed from the rooms • The minibars have been completely emptied • Toothbrush cups have been removed. Lifts • Information sign: A maximum of 1 person or those living in a household is permitted on all elevators • Buttons in the elevator are disinfected several times a day Wellness area/gym • Only for house guests with personal data for two hours per room unit, subject to availability Maintenance areas / public toilets / hygiene • Information sign: the toilet area can only be entered individually • 1-2 hourly cleaning of public toilets (7:00 am – 6:00 pm) • Disinfectant wipes are available in public toilets • After cleaning, the band over the toilet is "disinfected" Gastronomy / Restaurants • Only guests with table reservations will be seated by our friendly service staff • When entering the dining room, a face mask must be worn, which can be removed at the table. • Reducing restaurant capacity ensures a minimum distance of 1.50 • The kitchen staff and service staff work with mouth and nose protection • Guests must reserve their desired breakfast time between 7:00 am and 10:00 am upon check-in, subject to availability, with their room number. For breakfast, we serve guests breakfast at a portioned serving buffet. The distance requirement must be observed • The restaurant is usually open from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The kitchen closes at 8:00 pm. The restaurant is closed at noon except on Sundays and holidays • Outside guests are only allowed with a reservation - Guests must check in at the reception in the foyer and will be seated. • Whenever the weather permits: use of outdoor catering • The menu has been sealed so that it can be disinfected after each guest • Room service is possible at no extra charge • Lunch and dinner buffets are generally waived until further notice. • All meals are served on a tray on request, from which the guest can take the food himself • Cutlery and glasses are set with gloves • We deliberately do not use salt and pepper shakers on the table (bags on request) • Only use paper napkins (once) • Tables are cleared primarily only when the guests have left the table. • Table and chair backs are disinfected afterwards.
