A private room (with own independant en-suite bathroom and toilet) in an apartment located in an historical building. Some regions such as Canton de Vaud and Ville de Lausanne have laws that require guests to register with local authorities prior to their arrival. This can be done directly with the local authorities or sending their passport/ID at the accommodation. The owner will transmit it to the authorities.
