The cottage is located above the historic town of Stolberg in the Harz Mountains, in the quiet district of Hainfeld. On a high plateau you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view over mountains and forests as well as absolute peace and pure nature. Numerous hiking trails start right outside the door. The romantic European city of Stolberg is within easy reach. Note: Access via paved road with approx. 22% gradient, in winter snow chains or all-wheel drive may be required. The space The place is a quiet retreat with lots of atmosphere – ideal for guests looking for deceleration, closeness to nature and real relaxation. The house can accommodate up to four people and combines homely coziness with clear, functional furnishings. The open and bright living area forms the heart of the house with the fireplace. After a day in the fresh air or on the surrounding hiking trails, it invites you to relaxing evenings with warmth, tranquility and views of the countryside. Large windows provide plenty of daylight and underline the friendly, open living atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need for daily self-catering – whether for a shared breakfast, a relaxed dinner or a longer stay. The bedroom is quiet and designed for relaxation. The bathroom is modern, well maintained and practically furnished. Overall, the house is deliberately clear and cozy, without appearing cluttered. A place to stay for anyone looking for hikes, nature experiences or just peace and quiet, a place to arrive, breathe and stay. Guest access The entire vacation home is for the guests' exclusive use. This includes all living rooms, the bedroom, the bathroom as well as the living and dining area with fireplace and kitchen. The entrance is via its own building entrance. The house is quiet and separate, there are no shared interiors with other guests. The property is located on a hillside on a high plateau. Access to the house and within the accommodation is partly via steps. Guests should therefore be able to walk well. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the property. Other things to note On request, we are happy to provide our guests with a laundry package consisting of bed linen, towels and tea towels. The fee for this is €20 per person per stay. Please indicate the need when booking or at the latest before arrival. Dogs are welcome upon previous registration. We charge €15 per dog per stay for the additional cleaning effort. Important note: The municipality charges a tourist tax/guest fee. This official fee is not part of the rental price and will be charged additionally according to the local regulations.
