This is a rustic space, please be prepared to be surrounded by nature, not luxury, and enjoy the simplicity of our basic accommodations. - The space Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy and rustic lakeside cabin. Absolutely no parties or special events allowed. This is a cozy cottage, with a beautiful large deck overlooking the bay. Bedrooms are rustic and furniture is mismatched, be prepared to enjoy nature (and the occasional spiders/bugs/ants indoors), not luxury. The kitchen appliances are modern and basic kitchen amenities are supplied. Be prepared to bring drinking water, hand wash dishes (or bring disposable dishes), take short showers and wait at least ten minutes between people showering as the hot water tank is small. Special washroom guidelines: We are on a septic system. This means: Only flush toilet paper and human waste in the toilet. All other waste, including feminine hygiene products (i.e tampons), dental floss, make-up wipes, etc, need to be thrown in the garbage. If you choose to disregard this rule and the pipe is clogged, you are responsible for all plumbing costs ($500+). The lake is great for swimming, and guests can access the lake via the dock. The Beach next to the cottage is private property, and NOT for guest use. The only access to the lake is via the dock. The cottage is more suitable for older kids (6+).
