Modern open plan interior in an oak framed barn set in a beautiful country estate near Glasgow and overlooking the River Clyde. Walk in shower, full kitchen facilities and washing machine. Tv and wifi. Access to formal gardens and woodlands. Pets are welcome. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a luxury standard. Finlaystone Estate has extensive woodland walks and beautiful gardens and is just 20 minutes from Glasgow and 30 minutes from Loch Lomond. The space The barn is on the upper floor of the Oak Framed building and feels a bit like a large loft. The open plan set up gives it a roomy feel. It has 1 large double bed plus a sofa bed can be made up for an extra guest. Being recently built, the building is well insulated and snug but there is a wood burning stove for extra warmth as well as electrical heating. If you have difficulty with stairs or want a larger barn we have a separately listed one on the ground floor which can take 2 to 6 people in similar style. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the barn and full access to the formal gardens and woodlands which are great for dogs and children. There is parking by the building. Other things to note Pets are welcome but we make an additional charge of £15 as they tend, overall, to cause a bit more wear and tear. Please pay on arrival. We do not allow private parties. We have other residences on the estate and request that noise is kept to a reasonable level out of respect to others who wish to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. We allow 12kws per day of electricity usage in the price but will charge 35p per kwh for any additional usage, payable on departure. This covers most guests usage other than in winter.
