Open kitchen and living area with island, which includes: LG laundry / dryer machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stovetop and wine refrigerator. All kitchen necessities are provided so you are able to cook a fabulous dinner. Extra towels and linens for a queen size bed are provided. Very comfortable couch for 3rd person does not pull out. Heat, A/C, HD TV with basic, basic cable via a hi-def antenna, and electricity are all also included in monthly rental fees. Keyed elevator access to floor for added security. ***KEY PICK UP AND DROP OFF*** Keys will need to be picked up and returned at a 24 hour key cafe that is a few blocks away from the apartment. I provide a simple and easy instructional video of how to use the keys for easy check in. If you have any issues with the key pick up or drop off being at a key cafe please mention this in advance of booking your reservation with me. Guest access is for studio apartment only. This is not a shared space. You are renting your own studio apartment with a bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom area. Elevator building 5th floor apartment. Best neighborhood ever! You are a block away from Madison Square Park (MSP) and within walking distance from Flatiron, Gramercy, Chelsea, Murry Hill, East Village and even lower Midtown from this perfectly-located Manhattan apartment! In the immediate vicinity, there are always activities going on in and around MSP: Concerts, lounging on the lawn, and Madison Square Eats food tents in the summer and fall. Eately is also across the street from MSP and you can purchase some of the freshest ingredients to cook in your huge kitchen or eat in their amazing mini restaurants or those in in the surrounding neighborhoods. If you want some awesome dining recommendations then head over to Irving street in Gramercy, just four blocks away. My absolute favorite is Casa Mono. Pete's Tavern is also a great place for burgers and beer. There is also Ichabods and Yama sushi. Molly's on 3rd ave. is also an very old authentic Irish Bar that you should check out for a beer or to escape from the rush hour. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and other local markets are within walking distance from the apartment (Trader Joe's is at Irving and 14th street is a the most affordable option for groceries and great wine). Curry Hill begins at Lexington and 26th street and goes upward from there. My absolute favorite Indian restaurant is Pipalli! One of the best benefits of this centralized location is how close you are to public transportation that will easily get you to anywhere in New York City. You are steps away from the 6 train at 23rd street. The 6 will get you everywhere on the east side. If you just walk to Madison Square Park at 23rd you can jump on the N and R trains which take you up and down central Manhattan and the upper west side. Union Square is walkable and from there you can get on almost any train going anywhere. Take the L from union square to the bedford stop to explore Williamsburg, Brooklyn or take the L to 8th avenue to explore the meatpacking district in Manhattan. We have a keyed elevator for security. Nobody can access our floor except for those who live on it. The key is a pain to replace so if the keys are lost, there will be a $50 replacement fee. So try not to loose those keys:) Mailbox access is not included with apartment rental.
