Description

Welcome home to CasaColo, a newly renovated chalet, with 11 bedrooms, 8 baths. Featuring 2 large living areas with a fireplace and views of the rocky mountains. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a double oven. In the basement there is a bar and pool table area as well as a steam shower. The covered patio has an outdoor hot tub. Our most common feedback is that the place is nicer than our listing. The space About the Home Guests often describe the home as “grandma’s house—with the space, tools, and toys to accommodate every generation.” It’s a warm, comfortable gathering place designed for large families and multi-generational groups who want room to spread out and feel at home. Recent upgrades—including new windows and a large boiler system—help keep the home consistently comfortable throughout the winter months. Because of the size of the property, we intentionally stock redundant and backup amenities to minimize inconvenience. The home includes three full-size refrigerators, two combination boiler systems, four washers, five dryers, two microwaves, two coffee makers, two toaster ovens, and ample backup linens, among many other conveniences. Home Systems & Amenities This is a large, well-maintained home with multiple systems and amenities. While everything is carefully cared for, occasional downtime or maintenance may be necessary. Where possible, the home is designed with backups or alternatives to minimize impact, and our team addresses issues promptly when notified. For guests with limited mobility, two ground-floor bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, providing easy access without stairs. With a home of this scale, we prioritize comfort, functionality, and preparedness. On rare occasions, individual items may require servicing, but the home is always cleaned, inspected, and prepared to meet our standards before each stay. Check-In & Arrival Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. If there is no same-day turnover between guests, we are often able to complete cleaning earlier. Early check-in requests are welcome and accommodated when possible, though availability cannot be guaranteed in advance. On rare occasions, additional preparation time may be required to ensure the home meets our cleanliness and readiness standards. We appreciate your understanding as we prepare the home for a comfortable arrival. Detailed check-in instructions are sent at least 24 hours prior to arrival, and we remain available to answer questions before and during your stay. Cleanliness & Preparation Cleanliness is a top priority. The home is professionally cleaned between every stay, with attention to surfaces, linens, and high-use areas. Given the size of the property, we allow adequate time to ensure the home is fully prepared rather than rushed. Communication We believe clear, proactive communication is essential to a great stay.
