Facing the south and west, it gets all the sun and is just perfect for up to 2 couples. There are views of the islands of Giglio and Giannutri. With less than 20 steps down to the water, the apartment is unique for its spacious outdoor patio and extra privacy, since it is facing the sea and the wild coastline. It is overlooked by a watchtower built 500 years ago (to protect from pirate attacks) and surrounded by rugged cliffs. It is part of a larger building called residence “Le Cannelle”, the only construction on this beach. The bay has a cordon of buoys keeping boats distant from the shore. The beach also has a bar and restaurant open in the summer months serving local fish and seafood. A location like this is rare to find in the Italian coast, and it is only 2 hours’ drive north of Rome. This is a well-appointed property with beautiful sea views and plenty of outdoor space. Outside the living room (which is open plan furnished with designer furnishings such ad the sofa, table and chairs, and fully equipped kitchen) there is a balcony with shade, and two armchairs for lounging, and the larger patio has another table and chairs, sunbeds, and ample umbrella. This level also has a full bathroom, accessible during the day and at night can serve as a second private bathroom for one of the 2 suites. The bedrooms, one on the upper level, are separated by the patio, each have a double bed and private bathroom with large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. They each have air conditioning as does the living room. There is a large outdoor fireplace with charcoal barbecue grill, ideal for steaks and fish. Bring your own charcoal and firelighters. The open space kitchen is new, total white and it is equipped with dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer. Plates, glasses, cutlery, coffeepot, teapot, coffee machine model “Gioia” of Bialetti that requires Bialetti coffee capsules, electric kettle, immersion blender, toaster, French press coffee maker, iron and ironing board are provided. The kitchen counter top and sink are in Corian wich is an extremely delicate material, staining and chipping easily and getting damaged if hot pots are placed on the surface. Instructions are provided for treating it with care. The ceiling height of the kitchen and the upstairs bedroom is 192 cm. There is an outdoor drying rack and clothes pins for wet clothes, and a washing machine accessible in another part of the residence. There is a small portable beach umbrella and two transportable aluminum beach beds provided for those who wish to adventure away from the home comforts. A hairdryer is provided, and there is a vacuum cleaner and a cleaning equipment. The property is equipped with Telecom mixed copper fiber Wi-Fi, the best, most powerful and reliable operator in this context. The connection is fast, stable and reliable throughout the property except for the annex being dug into the rock. This place is splendid in summer but also out of season, here you can enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, the sea but also the mountains with the possibility of excursions, walks etc. Guest access You can’t come here without your own car. There is a reserved covered parking space in the residence car parking area, after which there is a walk of about 100 yards to the property and 15 steps up to the house level. The location is not suitable for those with walking disabilities. Other things to note You can add the 5th person if newborn up to 36 months. The closest store for food, a gas station and an ATM machine are at Porto Santo Stefano (20 mins away). Bring with you drinking water: the tap water is drinkable but bottled water is nicer.
